90 DAY FIANCE Colt & Larissa reach divorce settlement prior to April 1 hearing REPORT
It appears as though the contentious divorce between 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After stars Colt Johnson and Larissa dos Santos Lima might be a “quickee” after all!
The two had their case management conference scheduled for Monday morning, which is the initial hearing in which both parties present the issues of the case — including what they agree and disagree on. According to court records, the judge was also set to rule on Colt’s gag order as part of the hearing.
But, Instagrammer John Yates is revealing that the hearing “is in the process of being removed from the calendar because there has been some sort of agreement made between the parties.”
John has very close connections with Larissa’s camp, and is even mentioned multiple times by name in the gag order filing because of it. For that reason, there’s not much reason to doubt what he says.
Prior to John’s update, a reddit user on r/90dayfiancesnark claimed to have even more information about the settlement:
Larissa has settled. There will be no hearing tomorrow because she has agreed to Colt’s divorce requests. She will not press for alimony. Colt has won Round 1: The Divorce.
The rest is not guaranteed: she does not have a high powered attorney and therefore had to settle. She did not want to show up in court alone tomorrow. So she, in essence, gave up.
The user later shared an update revealing that “The paperwork is being signed right now (just before 6PST/9EST)”
The only discrepancy I am aware of between Colt and Larissa in the divorce was whether or not Larissa should receive spousal support as well as “50% of the Joint Bank Account” and “50% of the household furnishings.” Larissa asked for $1,000 a month in spousal support in her response to Colt’s filing, in addition to the bank account and furnishings split. Colt’s attorney scoffed at the notion of her client paying Larissa spousal support, and went so far as to state that if anyone is required to pay spousal support, it should be Larissa:
To the extent Larissa is seeking any support, SHE should be the one to pay Colt. She has battered Colt three times during the 9-month marriage, and has gone to jail three times on assault charges. She has posted pictures of her face online to try to garner sympathy and paint Colt as the aggressor. However, he was never arrested or charged, and the police rightly believed that he was the victim, not Larissa. The equities lie with Colt, and this is one of the factors the Court can take into account when setting support (if any).

So far, neither Colt nor Larissa has commented on the status of their divorce. But, I would assume that their Happily Ever After nondisclosure agreement would prohibit that anyways.
Although the couple may avoid a trip to court on Monday, they are still scheduled for a trial on Thursday in regards to Larissa’s domestic battery charge following their most recent physical altercation in January. Colt has stated several times, including in an emotional scene in the Happily Ever After preview trailer, that he intends to follow through on pressing charges against Larissa. However, it could very well be that he might have agreed to not press charges in exchange for Larissa not contesting the divorce.
A lot of fans are excited by the notion of an actual trial, but in my experience covering cases like this, it is very unlikely that it will come to that. I am guessing that if Colt insists on pressing charges that Larissa will cut some sort of deal before the jury convenes on Thursday. Then again, this couple is nothing if not full of surprises, so who knows?
