Billie Faiers weight loss: What has The Mummy Diaries star said about diet and exercise? All the details as the mum of two shows off figure on holiday with fiancé Greg Shepherd
The Mummy Diaries star – who is 28 years old – has been sharing photographs of her stunning bikini body in a red and white two piece with her 1.7 million followers on Instagram.
Fans can’t get over Billie’s incredible figure, who is mum to Nelly, four, and one year old Arthur.
So what are Billie’s diet and exercise secrets? Here’s all the refreshing things the former TOWIE star has said about weight loss…
Just 10 weeks after welcoming her baby boy, Billie took to Instagram with a string of Instagram photos.
She told Closer at the time: “You can feel your tummy almost contracting while you breastfeed.
“It’s funny, but I think it’s definitely helped me slim down.”
However, she was later forced to stop breastfeeding, telling OK! magazine: “He [Arthur] wasn’t gaining enough weight with breastfeeding because he wasn’t getting enough from my milk so he’s on a special prescribed milk now.
“He has a cow’s milk allergy. At one point he had really bad reflux and was so poorly, but he’s much better now.”
Before welcoming Arthur, Billie revealed she and sister Sam Faiers hadn’t done anything special to keep in shape.
Instead she admitted they both adopt healthy lifestyles and when asked about changes she’d made, Billie said: “Nothing, we both just eat really well, since we’ve had children we both eat so much better and have healthier lifestyles.”
No to fad diets
Billie is an advocate for not taking on extreme diets.
She told OK! Online exclusively in 2016: “Before I had Nelly the only thing I’ve ever tried was for about 6 hours and it was a juice diet without food, it was a pure liquid diet and it was literally for about 6 hours.
“Me and Samantha were like ‘no way we can’t do this’, I just have to eat food, juicing is huge these days but you have to have food with it, otherwise you’ll do it and just instantly put all the weight back on.”
