Princess Eugenie weight loss: Inside the royal bride’s diet and fitness plan as she shows off incredible trim figure ahead of wedding to Jack Brooksbank
Princess Eugenie got engaged to Jack Brooksbank in January 2018 and quickly organised their royal wedding to take place just nine months later.
After the 28 year old stepped out days before her wedding showing off her incredibly slim frame, here’s what we know about her health and diet plan:
Princess Beatrice’s younger sister has previously opened up on how she says in shape, telling Harper’s Bazaar about her gruelling, early morning exercise regime.
Eugenie explained: “I get up around 6:45 to start exercising by 7. I go to the park from 7 to 8. I do circuits – which I love because they’re quick – burpees, squat jumps, lunges, the whole lot.
“It’s much better, as I can’t run for a long time. Or I go with my best friend to this amazing, women-only gym called Grace Belgravia.”
The princess is said to be a big fan of The Detox Kitchen – giving a huge insight into her food preferences.
The Princess of York told the magazine: “For lunch, I walk over to the Detox Kitchen, which is right across Regent Street in Kingly Court. They do the best food, all healthy.”
From low-calorie salads to high-nutrition dishes, it’s definitely a healthier option for those looking to trim down.
Keeping down the excess sugar, she also revealed that her tipple of choice is a vodka and soda water – one of the lowest calorie drink options out there.
How much weight has Princess Eugenie lost?
One expert, Personal Trainer Jess Tonking, spoke to Express.co.uk about her incredible figure transformation.
She said: “Princess Eugenie has a gorgeous shape with all the right curves but it does appear more recently she may have shed some body fat in prep for her wedding.”
“If she has been following a weight training programme it’s hard to determine how much weight she has lost due to muscle gain.
“I believe she may have lost three per cent body fat (four pounds of fat loss) in the 6 weeks since the Royal [Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s] wedding.”
She added that while it may not sound like a hefty sum, exchanging fat for muscle gradually is a great achievement and there’s no doubt the Royal has toned up even more in recent weeks.
