Which celebrities lost their homes in the Califronia Fires?
44 people are dead and 200 are missing from the devastating fires ravaging Southern California. The Woolsey Fire has burned for five days now and destroyed hundreds of homes in the Malibu area, including houses owned by celebrities.
Liam Hemsworth shared this heartbreaking, yet somewhat uplifting photo of what remains of his Malibu home with Miley Cyrus.
Gerard Butler also took to Instagram to show the charred remains of his Malibu home and vehicle. He used the caption to thank the 9,000 firefighters that are working to combat the flames.
Robin Thicke’s girlfriend shared a photo of the ominous smoke that consumed their house.
Robin followed up with a photo of his son Julien on the beach captioned “Contemplating next move”
He later shared a message of gratitude that his family was safe.
Camille Grammer Meyer, who got married just weeks ago, also lost her house to the fire. In her Instagram message, she said the firefighters were able to save her cars and some personal items inside the home.
Neil Young spoke out against President Trump and Climate Changea fter losing his house in the Woolsey Fire. “As a matter of fact this is not a forest fire that rages on as I write this. We are vulnerable because of Climate Change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it,” Neil wrote. “Our temperatures are higher than ever here in our hottest summer on record. That has not helped. DT seems to be the Denier. (I’m holding back and not using the word liar just because it rhymes with denier.) It really is time for a reckoning with this unfit leader. Maybe our new Congress can help. I sure hope so.”
Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to share her gratitude for that her animals and Liam were saved from the fire. She also offered some links to charities that are helping fight the fire and care for the fire’s survivors and victims.
